Our memory system directly affects how we live and function in our everyday lives. Research has found that regular brain stimulation and keeping the brain active helps to improve and prolong healthy brain performance. For those new to a Brain Fitness type of program, this two hour lecture will present a brief discussion of brain plasticity followed by an overview of those activities known to, or perceived to, improve cognitive function. If you would like to participate in a Brain Fitness for Seniors program in 2016, you may register (in January) for a four-session seminar to be held Mondays, February 8, 15, 22, and 29 from 10:00 a.m. to noon. We will review seminar content and registration details during the Intro session.
