The student should have a basic knowledge of using a Windows Computer, the keyboard and mouse, basic typing skills, and accessing the Internet.

A computer, like any technical piece of equipment, requires regular maintenance to keep it running at peak performance and with required security functions. For a computer, this means performing regular maintenance on both the hardware and software components of your Personal Computer. These days, most computers have some of these maintenance functions built in, BUT they are not necessarily user-friendly. They are sometimes difficult to find and use and many necessary functions are missing.

While some of the built-in maintenance functions will be covered in this seminar, we will also cover a piece of Free and Fee software that is available from a company called IObit. The Free version offers many of the available Windows maintenance and security functions, all in one location, with an easy user interface. The Pro version requires a subscription with an annual Fee and offers all the functions in the Free version plus many more.

(Note: This replaces the previously offered seminar called "Computer Maintenance Using Advanced SystemCare").

  • Learn how to download and install the Free version of Advanced SystemCare

  • Learn how to set the best configurations for Advanced SystemCare
