Description:

In this workshop, we'll discuss and show what makes great travel photography and some tips for planning and taking great photos on your next trip and ways to share them.

Who doesn't love to travel? And of course you love taking pictures. So why is putting them together to document your travels often so challenging? Travel photography can be a great mix of people, street scenes, landscapes, architecture (indoor and outdoor), local color, and just about everything else you can think of. And it's all tossed together with the added pressure of time constraints, different cultures, lighting, and proper use of photo equipment. But the challenge of getting great shots and sharing with others can be very rewarding. In this workshop, we'll discuss and show what makes great travel photography and some tips for planning and taking great photos on your next trip and ways to share them.

We can talk about using what camera you have available, such as a DSLR, phone, or point and shoot. We have multiple resources for getting photo ideas on where you plan on traveling. Ex. What are the best times of day etc.? How to improvise on street photography, what to look for , etc.?
